Our church is lead and supported by the appointed Deacon and Trustee board. Rev. W. Arthur Martin is our newly-appointed leader and Senior Pastor of Providence Baptist Church. Weekly, we are taught and accept the word of the Lord through song, testimony, prayer, Bible study and the preaching of the word.

Providence Baptist Church is excited about the opportunities that lie ahead for its spiritual, financial, and numerical growth. We have six classrooms, a conference room, an elevator, two additional bathrooms, a banquet hall, a kitchen facility, and administrative offices. The church has steadily moved toward the fulfillment of the dreams and hopes of its founding members. We pray for the spirituality and prosperity of our church as we continue to build a heritage for generations yet unborn.

We are proudly affiliated with the following fellowships and organizations: Baptist General State Convention, Baptist General State Congress, National Baptist Convention USA, Inc., National Baptist Congress USA, Inc. and the Rockford & Vicinity Baptist District Association.
